I am thankful for those who care about me,
who make time for me, who worry about me.

Sometimes all love is, is just driving home,
letting someone close his eyes to rest a bit,
and cursing the bump in the road that wakes him.

Just for today, I will respond with compassion
to any anger or frustration.

Just for today, I will accept all that I am.
